Monarch Habitat Conservation

At Rockefeller State Park Preserve Hailey works with staff to help provide safe pollinator habitat while also a safe experience for visitors.

Hailey is working on something HUGE regarding Monarch Conservation that will be announced at a later date. The money that she raised in 2025 is being used for a Monarch Project that is VERY exciting! Stay tuned!

Be sure to follow Rockefeller State Park Preserve to know when Hailey will be releasing the monarchs she has rescued from areas in the Preserve that were scheduled for maintenance. These will occur according to Mother Nature's schedule during June-September.

Hailey works with her mother and RSPP staff to help educate visitors about monarch habitat conservation efforts.

Hailey has been volunteering at Rockefeller State Park Preserve since Kindergarten as a "Monarch Ambassador", Citizen Scientist, Preserve Guardian, Hike Lead, Educator, Sweep and "Hulda's Night" helper.

Hailey hosts Monarch Habitat Hikes during July and August where she educates ticket holders about the Preserve's efforts to protect and provide habitat for our precious pollinators. She also provides tips on what you can do to help at home too!​
